Andre Norton - Micro-review, E-books, and Audiobooks.

I just finished reading Andre Norton's Breed To Come. This is a reasonably enjoyable SF story. This story is a coming-of- age story for both the main character Furtig, a sentient evolved cat, and the main species of his world. Furtig and his people face the dilemma that an ancient race of "demons" might return. Like nearly every Norton book, this was pleasant escapism. Unfortunately, this one isn't in the public domain, but is likely available cheaply at used book stores.

However, several Norton books are available in free e-book formats at Manybooks.net and the Baen Free Library. These are listed below as are the LibriVox audio versions of all nine of her fantasy and SF books available at Manybooks.net. Norton's novel Yurth Burden was on of the first SF novels that I ever bought and it was the first e-book that ever read cover-to-cover. It's a pleasure to list all? of her free online works. They are worth reading electronically and/or listening to on your favorite MP3 player.
