LibriVox Short Science Fiction and Syndicated Comics.

Just want to highlight LibriVox's Short Science Fiction series, which is now up to number 46. These collections of audio SF stories include stories by some of the genre's greats. Each has approximately ten audio stories and are available in free MP3 downloads. Give a listen to a few; you likely won't be disappointed. And if you are, try one by a different writer or reader.

And while most aren't really related to SF or Fantasy, comic strips are fun.  Listed below are a few places where you can read hundreds online.  Enjoy your favorites, and perhaps some that you haven't seen in years.  The next post here is likely to be this weekend.

Audio
LibriVox is now up to number 46 in its Short Science Fiction series. This episode features stories by Robert Sheckley, Poul Anderson, H.G. Wells, and others. All free and available in MP3 downloads. The whole series is highly recommended and available here.  LibriVox uses many volunteer readers so there will likely be some you like more than others,

Syndicated Comics
GoComics is the home of  hundreds of comic strips available for free online viewing.  Many favorites are here including B.C., Baldo, Dick Tracy, Dilbert, FoxTrot, Pearls Before Swine, etc. The A-Z listing is here,

The Washington Post has a rather large online comics section including several that aren't at GoComics (Blondie, Hagar, Beetle Bailey, etc.).

Seattlepi adds a few more comics, including Flash Gordon and The Amazing Spiderman.

And a few other free comics are at Mirror Online, including reprints of Garth.
