I Get Free Fiction With a Little Help From My Friends

More good free fiction, including more e-books than Mordor has orcs (Perhaps a bit of an exaggeration, but there are several good ones).  And be sure to check out Regan Wolfrom's latest free fiction post as SF Signal for an advanced peek a some links I plan on swiping tomorrow.

• "And It’ll Haunt Me (For Long Days to Come)" by K. Allen Wood. Undead.
"In the small interrogation room of the Huntingdon Police station, Garret Denny sat slumped in a chair, his dark hood bleeding a darker shadow across his face."

• "For Long Days to Come" by K. Allen Wood. Undead.
"As the day waned, the deluge continued unabated. The battering on our roof was a relentless reminder that life in Orbisonia had gone astray, but we were oblivious. We went from window to window and stared through the oily liquid in rapt fascination, pondering a world stained by the blackened dollops that fell from the sky and clung to everything like molasses."

I love free eBooks on Amazon! I had a chance to check out Tamytch: The Rise of Gnurlbane (got it for free!). The character names take a little getting used to, but at least they aren't ripped straight from Lord of the Rings, like in many fantasy novels. This might be the most original book I have ever read, ever! If you like endings that are truly unpredictable, give this book a shot!

Thank you for the recommendation! It's very helpful when people give their opinions about the fiction..
